Refill set filter granulate activated carbon and molecular sieve for breathing air filters
Filters on breathing air compressors contain filter granulate consisting of activated carbon for filtering oil vapors and molecular sieve for drying the breathing air. The quantity used in the breathing air filters corresponds to approx. 1/3 activated carbon and 2/3 molecular sieve.
The service life of the breathing air filters
depend on the air temperature. The higher the air temperature, the more water the air contains. For this reason, the service life of breathing air filters varies greatly depending on the outside temperature. The manufacturers of breathing air compressors therefore specify the service life of the breathing air filters for their breathing air compressors in the operating instructions.
