Mono valves small conical 200 bar
Gas Cylinder Valves 200 bar for Small Conical (17E) Bottle Neck Thread
Diving cylinder valves for 200 bar monobottles with a small conical (17E) bottle neck thread are sometimes incorrectly referred to as "prohibited threads" in the diving industry. However, this thread type is still permissible and specified in standards DIN EN 144 and DIN EN ISO 15245. Pressure vessels with this thread are still manufactured. The use of these cylinders in diving is decreasing, and they are mainly found in industries for smaller cylinders such as carbon dioxide cylinders, oxygen cylinders, and rescue kits. Many old fire department cylinders in sizes of 4 liters or 7 liters are available on the market, which can be fitted with new diving cylinder valves and used for many more years. Similarly, old Medi valves from the former East Germany, where spare parts are difficult to procure, can be replaced this way.
Installation and maintenance should be carried out exclusively by qualified personnel and only when the bottle neck thread and valve inlet thread are compatible. Detailed information on the installation of pressure device valves, including required torque values, can be found on our website.
