Double diving cylinder valve compressed air 300 bar for M25x2 bottle neck thread

Diving cylinders with M25x2 bottle neck thread are the most commonly produced diving cylinders, also in the 300 bar pressure rating, which offers the advantage of a larger air supply. The diving cylinder valves with metric threads M25x2 and M18x1.5 are O-ring sealed and are tightened with a lower torque than the conical bottle neck threads. This is beneficial for semi-professional assembly operations, as disassembly and assembly are not as demanding as with conical bottle neck threads.

But why 300 bar diving cylinder valves with two separate lockable outlets? Like any technical device, a regulator can fail, an unpleasant prospect underwater during a dive. 300 bar double diving cylinder valves or double valves offer the possibility of operating two independent 300 bar regulators. If one of the regulators fails, simply close the valve of the failing regulator and switch to the second regulator. In some diving waters, diving cylinder valves are already prescribed as double valves.
