Diving tanks with 178 mm diameter are rare on the diving market, but have some advantages over the usual diving tanks with 171mm and 204 mm tanks. Lower weight, shorter length, (compared to the 171 mm tanks) thus also optimal for divers with short torsos. Concave bottom, bottles do not need feet are thus DIR compliant without violating the Betriebsicheheitsverordnung, which requires a foot for pressure vessels. If these cylinders are used as mono cylinders, the valve can be equipped with a second outlet or a blind plug, the double valve is the better solution. A basket to protect the valves can be attached \"Up side Down\" when used.
