A safe stand of the diving cylinder is not only important to reduce the risk of falling over and accidents, but stands are prescribed by the rules of technical gases, because pressure vessels must have a safe stand. In addition, upright storage is advantageous because the bottle will rust from the inside if condensation water accumulates. When stored upright, this condensed water collects at the bottom, the strongest part of the cylinder. The protection of the external paintwork and spray galvanising is also ensured by this stand.
