The Cyklon 5000 first stage is a classic among regulators. This universal first stage was also supplied together with the Jetstream and Triton second stages. This combination has led to the spread of this icing-proof first stage.

Regulators are heavy-duty diving equipment; salt water, dirt and sand cause wear to the O-rings and seals on moving parts.

Regulators should only be overhauled by qualified persons who have attended a training course.

The maintenance interval of a regulator is determined by the manufacturer and is specified in the corresponding documentation for the regulator.
