Octopus Xstream second stage regulator
The Octopus Xstream from Poseidon is a second, second stage regulator. An indispensable accessory in diving. The octopus is the reserve regulator that is used if the diving partner has a problem with his regulator or breathing gas supply. Every diver should carry an octopus in order to be able to help effectively in an emergency situation. Of course, the octopus must be suitable for the first stage. In cold waters, the octopus is connected to a separate first stage on the double valve or on the second valve of the double scuba tanks. With some manufacturers, the octopus is a simpler second stage by design, not so with Poseidon. The octopus differs from the main regulator only by a different colored protective cap. This ensures that the diving partner also has a fully-fledged regulator available in an emergency situation.
