Diaphragm controlled 1st stage regulator Xstream Oxygen M26x2
Regulators in modern designs are usually two-stage. The first stage of the regulator reduces the high pressure from the scuba tank to the intermediate pressure. Depending on the manufacturer, the medium pressure is approx. 10 bar above the ambient pressure. The second stage reduces the medium pressure to the ambient pressure. The ambient pressure depends on the diving depth.
