Standard medium pressure hose for the octopus of the Cyklon 5000 regulator from Poseidon. The 150 cm medium pressure hose is the standard hose for the octopus between the first stage and second stage of the regulator in technical diving.
Medium-pressure hoses are subject to natural ageing. When the surface of the low-pressure hose shows small cracks at the latest, it is time to replace the hose and not wait until the next regulator overhaul. A burst medium pressure hose during a dive is very unpleasant, diving equipment is personal protective equipment and should be maintained accordingly.
