Valves with M18x1.5 bottle neck thread for pressure vessels used in sports equipment or gas transportation are available in various configurations. The range of cylinders varies from 1 liter to 80 liter compressed air cylinders. Different bottle neck threads are used depending on the size of the gas cylinders. Smaller cylinders such as 1 liter to 4 liter diving cylinders are often equipped with M18x1.5 bottle neck threads due to their smaller diameter.
These specialized valves are designed for operating pressures up to 232 bar and ensure safe handling of breathing gases such as compressed air, Nitrox, Trimix, and oxygen. They comply with standards DIN EN-144 or DIN EN ISO 15245 and are suitable for diving equipment such as stage cylinders, rebreathers, boat diving equipment, rescue kits, or emergency devices.
Installation and maintenance should be performed exclusively by trained personnel and only with combinations where the bottle neck thread and valve inlet thread match.
