technical diving
Tech diving, tec diving or technical diving are terms that describe a part of scuba diving that describes the premier class of diving. The technical diver does not accept limits set by diver's associations or other institutions. The technical diver only accepts physical and medical limits and attaches great importance to safety during the dive. For this reason, he carries at least twice what is necessary for survival. The bailout is not only valid for the breathing gases but also for dive light, diving knife, diving mask, dive computer and everything necessary for the survival of the dive. Some of the equipment is used exclusively for technical diving, e.g. the buoy with big volume for the driving decoration. The often hours-long decompression obligations make a gas management with appropriate reserves inevitable. On the one hand, diving with easy-to-use gases like Nitrox is no longer attributed to technical diving today. On the other hand diving with compressed air is then considered as technical diving, when compared to the simple no-stop diving with compressed air in open water significantly increased demands on technology and divers exist, such as diving in deeper caves or exceeding the no-stop time with appropriate decompression phases under water. ,
