Thread adapter oxygen G3/4" to compressed air G5/8", male/male thread
In diving applications, different cylinder valve standards are used. For specific gas blending processes, high-purity gases are combined to produce breathing mixtures such as Nitrox or Trimix tailored to the dive profile. To transfer these gases from storage cylinders to diving cylinders, suitable connections are required. Thread adapters are used to connect existing transfer hoses to different valve standards.
Technical data of the gas thread adapter oxygen – compressed air:
- Material: Hexagon (SW30), nickel-plated brass
- Connection A: G3/4" male thread, oxygen 200 bar according to DIN 477-9
- Connection B: G5/8" male thread, compressed air 200 bar according to DIN EN 144-2
- O-ring: FPM
- Total length: 45 mm
The user must ensure that the selected valve outlet connection cannot be connected to fittings of other standards or gases in order to prevent hazardous situations (e.g. leakage, incompatibility, risk of asphyxiation).
