Steel cylinders have proven themselves as diving tanks. The 300 bar technology is increasingly being adopted in diving sports. Diving schools and diving bases are upgrading their breathing air compressors more and more to 300 bar. What are the advantages of 300 bar? The larger air supply with the same cylinder size and the diver requires less lead. Steel diving tanks have a long tradition, but the 300 bar technology is just beginning to make its way into recreational diving. Although the fire department has been using 300 bar compressed air breathing protection technology for decades, the diving sport is lagging behind here.
