Safety valve set pressure 300bar, used for pressure limitation on high pressure compressors, breathing air compressors and industrial compressors. Everyone knows safety valves from the heating systems and workshop compressors, here with overpressure in the range up to 10 bar is gebetet. The overpressure is adjusted by spring force. For breathing air compressors, however, much higher pressure is required, as for heating systems and do-it-yourself compressors. Here compressors with a final pressure of 200bar or 300bar are used. To prevent these high pressure systems, pipelines and filling stations / filling stations from being overpressurized, if e.g. the automatic limit switch has failed, safety valves of this type are used. For smaller compressors, with filling capacities around 100 l/min. these safety valves are also used as level indicator / final pressure indicator for the breathing air. The use of a safety valve as a safety device is prescribed in the industry in the DIN EN ISO standards. As a safety device on containers, the safety valve prevents a pressure increase above the permissible mas of the application.
