Filter units / filter cartridges often have a limited lifespan. Above all, the end-use life of most filter units of the Bauer - Atemluftkompresoren is limited to 15 years. This means that after 15 years the filter unit / filter cartridge has to be replaced with a new one. Since the filter cartridges from German production are often associated with costs of around one thousand euros, we offer here a cheaper variant. The aluminum filter housing is used by compressor manufacturers on their breathing air compressors. The filter cartridge so the filter cartridge can be refilled with filter granules (activated carbon, molecular sieve) itself, which leads to significant cost savings in the operation of a breathing air compressor.
