Maxi Filter Unit for Breathing Air Compressor
Filter units often have a limited service life. In particular, the maximum service life of most filter units used in breathing air compressors is limited to 15 years. This means that after 15 years, the filter housing must be replaced with a new one. The aluminum filter housing is used by compressor manufacturers on their breathing air compressors. The filter element, i.e. the filter cartridge, can be refilled with filter media (activated carbon & molecular sieve, molecular sieve only, activated carbon only, or combined with activated carbon & molecular sieve & CO catalyst), resulting in significant cost savings during the operation of a breathing air compressor.
