Thread Adapter for Nitrogen Valves W24.32 with Flow Protection or Residual Pressure Valve to G5/8" 200 bar Compressed Air
Nitrogen cylinders are equipped with valves that include a flow protection or residual pressure valve. This additional valve, a type of non-return valve, prevents gas from escaping from the cylinder and dropping to 0 bar if the cylinder valve is accidentally opened. This ensures a residual pressure of about 5 bar remains in the cylinder. To fill nitrogen cylinders, this valve must be opened during the filling process. At the same time, this thread adapter is suitable for filling the cylinders with compressed air fittings or for withdrawing nitrogen using compressed air fittings. The set screw in the adapter actuates the residual pressure valve and must be adjusted individually for each cylinder.
